I had the Lapband done in 2010 and weighed 360 at the time. My lowest weight with the lapband was around 290. I am currently 340. I originally wanted the VSG but insurance would not pay for it. The Lapband in my mind is a human torchure device. Every meal I am torchured. Now working at a new company and new insurance I have the VSG approved and have a surgery date of 2/11/2015.
From 7th grade I was 6'7in tall. I Played high school football and my freshman year I weighed 260. Bytthe time I got to college, still playing foortball I was 290. Graduating from college I was about 320 and its been up and down since then.
