Back from Vacation!!

Well we had a great time on vacation until I lost my bag with my cell phone, husbands wallet, watch, a couple hundred $$'s, keys to my car, house, etc.... And except for the fact that the food was not that good and I lived on things I shouldn't have eaten - which shows on the scale. I am hoping that when I go for my fill tomorrow, I get better restriction. I have such head hunger, I need to detoxify my body... I will talk to the nut tomorrow to see how to get back on track, vacation killed me.

I am so happy to be going on vacation tomorrow, Cancun here I come. Well I wish that I had a better week it has been the week from Hell!!! The candy killed me, I couldn't control myself!!! since I had my last fill and then 2 unfills I have been having a really hard time, I am always hungry - probably more head hunger then anything else. Not sure at this point what is in my band but I go back on the 13th so I will see then, I am going to take is slow though will only ask for a small fill - don't want to go throught that again.. I probably gained a lb or 2 this week not good since I need to get into my bathing suit... I guess I will manage.
Will write more when I get back... oh and by the way I posted my new Doo.. yea it is a littel short but it is so easy, I love it. Until next time.

I had another fill on 10/9 at that point I was down a total of 24.6 lbs yea!! anyway I got a little toooooo much fill and had to go back for an unfill, thought I was ok and had to go back for a 2nd unfil the next day, so I know have 6 cc's in my band which I think is pretty good at this point, I seem to have some restriction but not sure if I am at my sweet spot yet. It is so hard to tell it seems like one day I can eat anything and the next I am limited - this is deffinetly a learning experience.... on another note as of today (according to my scale) I am down a total of 28.6 lbs YEA!!! I am going on vacation in 2 1/2 weeks (Playa Del Carmen) can't wait -My goal is to be in onderland before I go..... Today I woke up with TOM, so I konw I wont have to worry about him visiting on vacation!! I LOVE MY BAND! I do have to start exercising MORE!!! I have been riding my bike but not enough.... well off I go to take a ride now.. until next time.

Well, I can't believe that it's been three weeks since I last posted. I am really going off track here, I will try to make sure I post on a weekly bases. According to my scale I am down another 4 lbs as of today making that a total of 22.6 not what I was hoping for in an 8 weeks period. I can eat anything and I wish I couldn't, I can't wait to go for another fill next week, I hope that the next one gives me some restriction. I am going to really concentrate on losing, exercising and writing everything down this week. Well wish me luck.

Well I wasn't feeling any restriction at all after my 1st fill and I was so afraid to gain any weight back that I emailed Kathryn at Dr. JB's office yesterday and they got me right in today for another fill. I got another 2.5cc's. I can now feel a difference, although I haven't eaten anything solid, I can feel a differnce with the liquids. I am so excited, I also met 3 other bandsters in Dr. JB's office today, it was really nice to actually meet others that are going through the same things as me. I am now officially down 17.8 lbs..

I am 4 weeks out and had my first fill on Tuesday 9/4, 2.5cc's in my AP small (10cc) band. I had nothing in my band at surgery, my surgeon installs his bands empty so I had no restriction for a couple of weeks, to be honest I don't really feel any restriction now either but so far I'm not really hungry ( I hope it lasts) .
I lost another 2.4 lbs - total is 15 lbs since surgery.

Having a hard time with food right now

Well I went for my fu on 8/21 and lost another 2 lbs, which is great!!! I am down 12.6 lbs since surgery. However, I am now feeling hungry, I have NO restriction at all and I can pretty much eat anything I put in my mouth. I am really trying to watch, but we have been going out to eat way too much over the last 2 weeks. I have been to Outback, Applebees and Johnny Carinos, not to mention Pizza - and although I have made pretty good choices it is not good to eat out this much,and of course it seems that everytime I go out I have to at least have a little piece of the appy - NOT good!! Well I go for a fill on Tuesday and am praying that I get some restriction. I have nothing in my band right now, I have read that some people with the AP band have 3 cc's in there band right off the bat, I am not sure about that... well until next time.

Well surgery went Great!! I had very little pain after surgery and needed very little pain meds (in & out of the hospital), only pain I really had was due to gas, my incisions look and feel great, Dr. JB is fantastic, my port it located in the perfect spot - half way beteen my belly button and chest and about 2 to 3 inches to the right.. I am amazed at how I feel already - I hope I don't jinks myself... my official surgery weight was recorded on 8/1 and I lost 10.6 lbs by my fu appt on 8/14... WOW - that is a first for me.
This is what has happened and what I have had to eat so far.......
Surgery 8/6 - Only had water (was allowed clear liquid but nurse didn't think so even after Dr. gave orders - she thought clear liquids was just water)
8/7 & 8/8 - Clear liquid diet
8/9 thru 8/14 - Pureed diet
8/14 FU appt. - 10.6lbs lost
8/14 thru present - Soft diet
next fu 8/21 - not sure what I will be eating at that point
I was told that I lost alot and that I should not expect to lose that much next week, I will probably only lose between 1 and 3 lbs, everyone is different. What has your diet been like? I see that some people on on liquids for weeks.
