My name is Jackie and I just turned 40.
I had gastric bypass surgery 10 yrs ago in Mobile, Alabama. Back then, they did not educate the patient about anything. Basically, I met the surgeon, had the surgery, then had ONE post-op visit to get my staples out. That was it! I knew nothing!
I did lose about 80 lbs, then got pregnant with my second child within a year of my surgery. It was all down hill from there!
Now 10 yrs later, I discover there is something called Revision Surgery. Now I feel I have been given a second chance to do this right!!!
