Hey guys and gals sorry it have been so long since I posted a message. I really cannot get over where the time has went. I just got back from the gym I go 5 times a week and love it. I can run for over a mile without stopping. Since I have lost the weight I am more out going and just a all around nicer person. Also things have been so great in the love department :) I can wear a 1 XL shirt and my waist is 32. I love going to American Eagle getting nice clothes. My weight is 222lbs which means I have lost over 200lbs. (its crazy) I am going to post some new pictures. O I have also moved from Huntsville, AL to Clarksville, TN and love it 40 miles from downtown Nashville, love the night life and the dance clubs O and I love to dance for hours.  

Wow, where has the time gone and my weight? What a great journey this has been for me. I feel so much better and look so much better. This surgery has opened the doors to my new life and it totaly has been a god given gift for me. I am learning everyday so much more about myself. The best part for me is going shopping, No more going to the Pants Barn or the Big & Tall Store. I am from a size 56 waist to a 38 inch waist and from a 5XL shirt to a 1XL shirt. I have also since moved from Huntsville, AL to Nashville, TN and I am loveing the Nashville night life. ITS PARTY TIME :)

Hello everyone, Hope everyone is doing great. Just wanted to let everybody know how my surgery went. Other then IV troubles everything went great. Because I was doing so good they took the IV out a day early to make is easier for me to walk up and down the halls. The one thing I do have to say is GAS PRESSURE, the only pain I really had was the gas pressure in my upper back, thank god it went away about two days ago. Everyday I feel so much better and I am so glad that I did this for myself.

Surgery went just fine. everything is going goodmore later

I called BlueCross BlueShield of Alabama this morning at work while on my break and was told that I was approved for WLS. I about fell out of my chair I asked the BCBS girl to repeat herself...LOL everybody at work heard me and cheered for me, I started to cry, It hit me fast that it was going to be my day, my turn in the sun. SO then I got myself together and called my surgeons office  ASAP and they gave me my surgery date of JUNE 4th 2007. SO then I called Huntsville Hospital and got a appointment to come in after work and do all my pre-addmisson stuff, So I went after work and did my EKG, Blood Work, Xray, payed my co-pay for surgery...TODAY WAS A GOOD DAY, I have not felt this happy in a long time....

Hello, sorry it has been so long since a post..my bad. Anyways I am just waiting to hear from the Insurance company to get a ok for the surgery. Had my last appt. with my dietitian on Thurday which means I am finshed with my 6 month supervised diet (THANK GOD) We went over the ** Gastric Bypass Guidelines ** I call it the Gastric Bypass Bible...LOL

So I went today to see Dr. Kumar to have my Psychological Evaluation done (For Insurance) Everything went great I so think I passed :) He just asked me some questions about my background & what do I know about WLS, I was much easier than I was thinking it would be. They are going to send the paper work to my Surgeons office sometime with in the next 2 days. Stoped by Dr Mailapur's office on the way there to make sure everything is still going good & IT IS, they have really been good to me. I told them that I have my last appointment with my Dietatian on 04/10/07 & asked them after that what happens next? They told me that my dietatian will send them a letter stateing everything about the 6 month diet (which is going great) & then if they do not need anything else from me they will turn everything in to BlueCross BlueShield Of Alabama. I CANNOT WAIT
