It has been a while since I have posted anything. I am feeling good. I already lost 35 pounds since my operation three months ago and I go back to see the doctor again this Friday, 6/27/14. I am noticing that my clothes are getting baggy on me. It is amazing how little I eat now. I still have trouble sometimes when I am ordering. I normally order just an appetizer and that pretty much is it for me.

Ok, so it has been a month since surgery. I didn't think that I was going to go through with it, but I did. I am having difficulty trying to find high protein foods that I like. I am eating a lot of chicken and tuna salad and scrambled eggs. I go back to see my doctor and the nutritionist on Thursday.  I will then find out how much more weight, if any, I have lost. My family and friends tell me that I look good and that I am shrinking before their eyes, but I don't feel like that yet. I have worn clothes I haven't worn in a while because they didn't fit me right and now they look pretty good on me. So I guess this is working.

I'm excited, I get to go back to work tomorrow (4/15/14). It is only a three day work week for me because I am off on Friday for Good Friday. I can't wait. I miss all of my co-workers and the consumer's that are there. I work for a facility for individuals who have a disability. I have been there for 30 years and it is like my other family. I can't wait until tomorrow......

So it has been a week since I had my surgery. I feel pretty good. I find myself not to be too hungry anymore. I am trying to drink the protein shakes and eating a bit of broth, but I can't seem to drink it all or eat it all. I am going back to see my doctor on Friday.

Well I have been home for a full day. I am not hungry to have the clear liquids like I am suppose to have. I have just been drinking the water. I know I need to have something but not hungry enough to eat. Maybe tomorrow will be a better day.

Well today is my surgery. I am excited, nervous and anxious to get this done. I have looked into doing this for a while and the day came pretty quick. I have to be at the hospital at 11:45 and the operation is at 1:45.

I am happy with the choice that I made to have the weight loss surgery done. I am having the sleeve done on April 1, 2014. I am excited and I really like my doctor. I have been thinking about doing this for a while but I chickened out. But now it is getting done.
