I am 35yrs old. I have 5 children 1 girl and 4 boys. I am currently enrolled at Suffolk County Community College for Nursing. I have struggled for many years with my weight. From a child I was overweight. I don't ever remember my weight being less than 200lbs.
There was a time once where I weighed 190 for about 5 minutes (LOL). That was when I went through my divorce. And with the help of ephedrine, what an amazing drug that was. Then they banned it and I quickly blew up again and this time I put on even more weight.
In between I would do Weight Watchers and lose a few lbs here and there. I had my last child and then all chaos broke loose in my body and I just gained and gained and gained. I tried dieting, I tried Curves (only to give myself tendonitis in BOTH ankles, VERY PAINFUL).
I was getting desperate to lose the weight and my neighbor had WLS a yr prior to my journey. I saw how amazing she looked and how good she felt and all I could think of was how I wanted to feel that and look like that. She gave me the # to her surgeon and the rest is history.
