Attended Lap Band and RNY seminar at Mobile Infirmary Hospital which is a Center Of Excellance and has a Bariatric Clinic. Had my first appointment with Dr. Forest Ringold at Surgical Association and started the paper work.

Called my insurance company today and I'm Approved!!!!!! As soon as I get the letter in the mail my surgery date will be set!!!

Attended my BEGIN Class at the hospital which taught me about nutrition and what things will be like after surgery. My surgery date is set for Tuesday, August 28th, 2007. I am so excited! little nervous but happy. My starting weight is 289 as of this day. I will start my 2 week liquid diet before surgery on August 18th. That's all for now!

Well its been a while but surgery went very well. More pain than I expected after surgery. I am now starting to feel like myself more every day. I have started incorparting more food in my diet daily, some days are good with this and some are bad, but just have to keep trying. I am almost 1 month out and have lost 24 pounds already. My next doctor's appt. is October 8th and I will update again!
