Hi Jill: Honey girl, it will go fine! And what a life you are about to begin! I had my surgery on 9/21, I am down 75#, and feeling fantastic. I would do this again in a New York Minute. :). Anyway, hang in there kiddo, we all got nervous just before surgery, it is normal. And hey, if you can't sleep much the night before surgery, don't sweat it, you will sleep plenty after the surgery! (((((((HUGS)))))))))

Jill, Use the next few days to think of all the positive changes this surgery will do for you...make yourself a list of goals and fun stuff for the future...take some time to relax and pamper yourself before you go to the hospital. Waiting around for that magic day is often hard but you will make it!! Best wishes to you.. KimmieTN

Jill the trick to making it through the days before the surgery is to keep your eye on the prize. Look at the before and after pictures everyday. You will be there.

Jill!!! Jill here!! lol!! Just wanted to wish you well on your upcoming surgery!!! I was supposed to have my surgery the same day as you...but got bumped up two days. Hi Everyone, Listen, Jill has been very nervous the last couple of days and could really use a word of encouragement. She will probably be upset that I said, I hope not. Ya Know, sometimes we read too much into posts and profiles and sometimes see things that are probably not there. I know that I got extremely nervous reading here the last 4-5 days pre op, and I know all of you post ops know the feeling... so please email her directly and give her some words of encouragement. I spoke with her at length on the phone tonight, but I am only 2 weeks out and am not back to my old self yet. She needs to hear from you all that have some post op time behind you. She is such a special person, I feel so awful that she is having a rough time with this. Jill, If you are reading this, Remember, you deserve this!!!!!!! You are so special... Jill, just want to give you a big congrats and I'll be thinking of you on your big day. My surgery date is Jan. 14, so hopefully I will be home by the time you go in. We're almost there! Good luck!!
