Hi Randall, Thank you so much for the poem you sent to me. Thank you very much for your support. Congratulations on your up coming surgery. I have been fighting with the insurance for two years. I just hope i don't have trouble with payment for a copay. the only thing i know of is a $100copay and then $75 for the private room. I was moved when you talk about the person you help. I hope everything goes smooth from here out. THanks again for your support.

My prayers are with you as you embark on your weight loss journey. You have stated you are scared, which means you are only human. However, don't use too much energy worrying about the surgery. Instead, use it to dream about the great things there are to come. God bless you, Randall. Kathy

Hi Randall! Big congratulations on your surgery date! I bet you are so excited! Just hang in there and try to be patient! Don’t worry if you are nervous, scared, excited or go through a thousand different emotions. This is all normal, so go with the flow! There’s really nothing you can do with all those feelings surfacing. You may start to doubt yourself and question your decision to have surgery. Just about everyone has had this happen to them. You’re making a decision to have a better quality of life and YOU deserve it!! That gut feeling or that little voice inside lets you know that you’re doing the right thing! Remember that we’re all family here and we’re ready to give you our support, lend an ear and not judge. You know you can always come here and get a dose of confidence and good will! There are lots of us who have had surgery and are in your corner rooting for you!! I just wanted you to know that I was thinking about you today and that you are in my thoughts and prayers for a successful, problem-free surgery and recovery. I’m so happy for you. Congratulations on your surgery date! I have some Zen Wisdom for you - Nothing exists but momentarily...One thing flows into another...observe things as they are, let everything go as it goes. This is to put everything under control in its widest sense. --- May God keep you close to his side as you travel your new journey. You will have ups and downs. You can always turn to us, your AMOS family, we will give support, comfort and encouragement. You will find this will be the best thing you could ever have done for yourself as well as your family. I know that was true for me. Keep us posted when you reach the "other" side. I pray for a speedy and easy recovery for you. Don’t forget to update your profile at least monthly. We all like to see how we are doing!!! Make sure you take pictures. It’s great to see the new you emerge!!! Not to mention the look on YOUR face when you look at those pictures and compare them in a few months! It’ll be a BIG WOW!!! Please remember too, that this is a *tool* to use. Make sure you use it wisely. The first year it’s pretty easy, after that I’ve been hearing (I’m not speaking from experience as I’m not a year out yet) that it gets increasingly difficult. Hi Randall~~~Wishing you all the very best on your Journey to WLS!!! ~~~~You're Not Going That Way~~~~~ As you travel through life, there are times when decisions just have to be made. When all you can do is gather your courage and choose a direction that carries you toward a new dawn. So take a step forward. The process of change can be tough but think about the excitement ahead. There could be adventures you never imagined and wishes and dreams just about to come true. So keep putting one foot in front of the other and taking your life day by day. There's a brighter tomorrow just down the road. Don't look back- you're not going that way!
