Hello Everyone it is just me, Valerie. I cannot believe all these wonderful messages were linked to my profile and I didnt get to see most of them. I think some may have been emailed to me but I dont recall seeing most of them. At any rate I beleive it has been over two years now since WLS. What a great tool I have been given to loose 155 pounds and now we are expecting our second child within 8 weeks barring anymore complications. I actually suspect she will be here in another month but hopefully she will take the opportunity to hang out with mommy and grow a bit longer. If not I am ready though as I am anxious to lose the 25 pounds I have gained. Good Luck to all of you no matter where you are in the battle of obesity. If you need anyone to talk to I am always an email or phone call away. Take Care and God Bless You All.

Valerie, I am sorry you are feeling so crummy. I had the same problem for a long time and I had the same surgeon as you. It will get better in time. I am 7 months out from surgery now. Slowing down while eating is the best thing. It is hard to adjust , because if you are anything like me, we are used to just eating way too fast. Hang in there, soon the pounds lost will be well worth all this, and the head hunger will get better.

Valerie, I truly understand how you are feeling. The same thing happend to me. I had open rny May 22, 03 and am just now getting to were I can hold food down and not get sick. Just take it slow and easy. Don't give up on yourself....You are worth having a healthier and happier life. I pray all gets better Soon. Keep your head up. Take care, Lisa

I had the same problem the month or so of surgery. I literaly had to time myself (I was eating to fast). I have since learned to slow down and listen to my pouch. I still occassionally make that darn mistake but I do not throw up daily, weekly etc anymore. More like once month now when I don't watch myself. Hope you feel better soon. You WILL feel better tho. Hang in there. Jamie

Valerie, I am 2 months out and I also have been feeling just as you described for the past week. Maybe it is just our bodies adjusting, I'm not sure. I am already on depression med. Hope you get to feeling better. Janice
