I just want to Thank everyone again for all of your support! I am not just over 2 weeks post-op. I have had such an easy time (knock on wood) that I would swear my surgeon didn't install my band ;-) Minimal gas pains and no other pain to speak of. I have had no problems with food. Everything is PERFECT and I am very pleased to be progressing so well. I start back at Curves Monday doing everything except working my stomach. I am down -27 lbs as of Monday (3 weeks total out). I'll just weigh myself monthly now as I don't want to focus on the numbers as much as the health benefits & lifestyle changes necessary to be successful! Life is GREAT! Thanks again for all your support.

Hi Kerrilynn, I'd say don't be nervous but, heck, I was nervous. Of course it was all for nothing (except I burned a few extra calories) because my surgery went just fine. For me, the week before surgery was harder than the week after. Pesky nerves. Anyway, remember to keep it positive. That includes having only positive people around you. The negative ones are just ill informed and will drive you nuts. I hope all your health and weight-loss dreams come true,
