Ok so as of now the only thing I'm worried about is the insurance process, I'm sure as thing progress I'll have more worries lol. But I'm wondering if any one used amerigroup and had issues with them approving your surgery. I'm in Florida I'm not sure if each state is different. I already found a surgeon that takes it. I'm just worried amerigroup will be like hmmm denied. They have only covered one surgery due to sleep apnea 3 years ago and it was a tonsillectomy and there was no issues, obviously I know this surgery is completely different. Has any one had any experience

Just thought i'd introduce myself. Im 28, mother of 2 great kids they are 8 and 5. I have been married for a little over a year now and i am so truly blessed to have met my husband he so supportive and loves me no matter what size i am. Im 5'7 and currently 280lbs. I have struggled with my weight my whole life. With being over weight up until about 15 and then anorexia for about 2 years. With help of therapy healthy eating and exercising i was at a healthy weight of 140 lbs around 18. I maintained my healthy weight with little fluctuations until i got pregnant with my oldest. While pregnant i could not keep anything down so i spent my whole pregnancy on ivs and in and out of the hospital. 39 weeks later i had my healthy beautiful little girl, i weighed about 110lb the day i had. After having her my weight went up to about 190 i ate healthy exercised tried different weight loss options nothing was working. Then about 2 years after i had my daughter i got pregnant with my son and went from about 190 to 230. Had him. Lost 10 and its been down hill ever since. So with the support of my husband i have decided to take the journey to have surgery. To be healthier for not just me but my family. Im truly excited to be taking this journey

So excited to have made my first appointment to start my weight loss surgery. im 5'7 and currently 280 lbs with a BMI of 438. my current goal is to be 140 lbs. Im ecstatic to see my dr on  April 6th 2015!!! I really hope I can get a surgery date soon so i can be more fit and healthier for my kids. m a little nervous about the saggy skin =, but im hoping with my age and how i care for my skin it wont be too much of a issue, fingers crossed!!!!!
