Hi, Kellie. Your recovery 12 days out sounds textbook to me. I had lapband on 8/6/08--and I felt just like that, too. The pain in my left shoulder was identical to yours--it does eventually go away--it is the gas coming out--I made sure I walked (2 miles) every day and moved around as much as possible. I was eating strictly liquids (Protein drinks and Crystal Lite) and a tiny bit of applesauce and cottage cheese--until eay 14--then started in with eggbeaters, egg salad and yogurt, mostly. Slowly moved into more solid foods--and after post op doing mostly soups and chili--loving the weight loss!! (50 pounds so far--40 to go!)
Hang in there--move as much as you can each day!
