"I absolutely loved Dr. Carmine. I first met him at an informational session for the weight loss center at Boston Medical Center. I could tell during his presentation that he is passionate about his work in this area and cares about his patients, so I decided to choose him from the 3 surgeons at the center.
He was patient and answered all my questions in our pre-op meetings. He has a pretty strong focus on aftercare and I already have 2 post op appointments scheduled with him. My surgery recovery was very smooth and he even came to check on me with his resident team even though my surgery was on Friday. He came on both Saturday and Sunday morning.
Overall I would give him a great rating and refer anyone thinking of having this surgery to him! He is extremely knowledgeable in this area and has a focus on bariatric surgeries so he knows what he is doing. Very good bedside manner as well. He was kind and patient. I don't know if he has any input on who is on his surgical team in terms of his residents but they were all very nice and helpful as well. "
