I'm 44 years old and have been married to the amazing man. One that I sheepishly asked prior to our wedding if he would love me even if I got as big as my mother and guess what? He has and more!
I have two younger sisters (40 & 34), two nephews and three nieces. They are the true joy of my life since my hubby and I could not have children of our own. My mother passed away in 1999 ultimately from complications due to her obesity. I miss her tremendously. My 65-year old father has always been my role model (as was my mother...professionally, emotionally and spiritually) but now is my friend. He has been so supportive and incredible and as an added benefit he made most of my clothes for the last several years.
After almost 30 years in the work force, I finally have a job that I love. As with any job there are stresses and politics, but I get to be creative on get paid for it. I'm a Product & Marketing Manager in the Recruitment department of a newspaper and very recently been asked to help with our Real Estate site as well. My other "unofficial job" is resident therapist. In reality, I am just blessed with a lot of great friends in the office.
