One month ago on February 21, 2011 I had RNY. I can say that this has been a difficult journey and I know it isn't gong to get easy any time soon but I can honestly say that this has been one of the most memorable and rewarding experiences that I have had in my life. I still struglle with certain foods. I still struglle to get down my fluids and get in all my protein. I also still struggle with chewing those yucky vitamins but I would do the whole process again in a heart beat. As of my last weigh in on Monday I am down 20 pounds! That's great for only one month! I have 86lbs to go to meet my goal and I have no doubt in my mind that I made the right choice in having this surgery. I look better and health wise I feel great! To all of you contemplating this surgery, go with how you feel, but this is an AWESOME opportunity and I am so grateful that I was able to have it done!Kiya
