So here's the thing with me this story of mine should have been partially taken care of last year if i wasn't left out of important information by the hospital and the doctors. I had surgery last year on my left hand and fell so i went to the hospital to make sure i didnt damage anything from my surgery. remind you my back hit the brick wall legs and hands hit clement. left leg started to bug me so they looked at it and my hand told me my hand was fine and leg was sciatica so we left. two days later my leg pain increased and the back started to soar too, went back and they said the same about my leg and that my doctor would have to schedule a test for my back. So she did xrays then a double MRI have discs out of place in upper left side of my back. then in december i had a car accident that the test showed a leason on my live but hospital didnt tell me, i didnt know this till my knee MRI resluts came back. Blood was drawn at all my appointments and not once did someone say your blood count appears to be dropping or hey your bloods low lets figure it out. So in february this year i woke up out of the blue gasping for air to breathe remind you i was only trying to rotate sides in bed but after this i felt sick so i went to the bathroom and threw up blood and other some stuff. called my mom we went in blood drawn again and nothing so when i did my follow up they decided it was time to see the gastrologist for my stomach. he ran an endoscopy and found i had a hiatal hernia growing but no signs of my blood loss. he re-ran my blood work and within a week i had to have another scope oppoiste way and could find this missing blood but found out i had anemia. at this point he told me i had to get to the infusion center within that week for my iron infusions. Well for my follow up we discussed taking out the hernia but considering im over weight he recommended surgery was the only option for me. So here i am went to my seminar in June and Meet surgeon in July and did psy eval in july. Well august came for my support group and i took my two bestie co-workers that had the surgery with me as my support team. Then came my pre-op i was relaxed and now surgery is next wednesday. a bit nervous but ready for a second chance a new me and a new healthier life! Sorry if my story seems long but this is all how it came to be and played out.
