St. Francis Hospital
"I felt I got the quality care that I was entitled to. The nurses, doctors, staff, everyone that I dealt with at the hospital was very nice, courteous and cared about any concerns that you had. I was very please with my care there."

"Dr. Steward was nice right off the bat. He explained the surgery and risks to me. I felt very comfortable with him. His staff seemed very friendly. I have talked with his nurse, Maxine, a couple of times on the phone and she answered my questions patiently. I cannot say that I found anything to dislike about him in the 45 minutes I was in his office and I have heard good things from other patients about him. He is associated with a WLS support group meeting and stresses being involved with a support group. He talked about not pushing solids too soon after surgery. He did address the risks and that they are VERY real risks and can be VERY life threatening. He wants people to realize that problems can & do happen. At this point in my journey I would recommend Dr. Steward."
