This is my story...

I'm 35 years old and had gastric bypass surgery two and a half years ago.. i'm very happy with my decision.. I havent been over weight my whole life..Actually I was only over weight for about 5 years before I decided to have my surgery but even tho I wasent over weight my whole life it was still hard for me to lose the weight and keep it off.. My B.M.I. was at a 38 before surgery but because I had diabetes and sleep apena I was a good canidate for surgery.. To be honest it was real easy for me to lose the weight and it has been just as easy for me to keep it off( so far).. I'm a little underweight right now but I'm trying to gain some back.. my whole family has always had the genes of gaining real fast and losing real fast so I figure I just follow in my family genes..i still have my gallbladder in and so far hasent had any issues with that.. I'm so scared of getting gall stones because I hear it's the worst pain you will ever fill so lets pray that never happens.. I never felt one oounce of pain from my surgery.. After my DOctor did surgery on me I had to look down to see if he actually even did it.. LOL.. I didnt lose real fast but it was study and about 8 months out I was to goal.. My mother in law and sister in law also had the surgery (after me) and they are doing great as well.. I usually dont drink with my meals but i have started to recently when I got down to 105 pounds because I really needed to gain a little back and now I'm up to 110 pounds so I do think drinking with your meals plays a factor on your weight.. i needed to strech my pouch out a little and I can actually eat more food now that I started drinking with my meals.. I have four children and have been with my honey for 10 years and thank god he is very supportive of my surgery.. I am verry happy today..
