I think my story is not much different than many others who have struggled with weight. I have been overweight since my early years, have been dieting since the 5th grade. I would imagine I have lost 500 pounds over my lifetime only to gain it back. I am a fun loving person who is tired of watching life pass me by because of weight issues. I think I always thought WLS was a cop out. After speaking to people who have gone through it and much research I know that is not the case.
So on December 6th my journey began with a consultation with a surgeon!
