 Went to surgeon appt for my 4 mo follow-up, come to find out my goal weight set by Doc is 130!!!!  So I'm at my goal weight!!!!!
YAY!!!  

 I'm feeling better these days.  Losing nice-ly and loving it!  My 3 mo A1C was 6.6, it has dropped since pre-op.  And I actually like to go shopping for clothes!  Only problem is I grow out of them so fast I need more!  

 my low blood sugars was short lived.  now its up to 170 atleast once a day.  I'm getting headaches again and feel nausea and tired.  I just don't know if losing weight will put an end to these high sugars.  Tho my weight has come down, I'm now at the beginning weight I was when i was diagnosed with type 2.  I'll find out what my a1c is in mid Jan.  It was 9.5 in Sept.  I'm trying to stay somewhat positive about this but for now I'm back on insulin shots...:(

 
 my sugars were never under 250.  i'm 6 weeks post-op and my sugars are under 100!  no meds.  my dr said its a miracle.   
i'm waiting for the day i can say that i am no longer a diabetic, i beat this cruel disease!  i accomplished my 9 year long goal!  i have my life back and i am truely thankful!

 well, i still have the picc line in my arm.  i had a stricture they dillated my throat and now i can swallow my own saliva lool.  i'm eating again and feeling much better.  my weight loss has stopped, i still weigh the same as when i got sick a month ago.  weird thing is though the scale stays the same i'm down 5 pant sizes!!!!  today i shopped for pants and had to go get a smaller size 3 times.  i cant believe i wear a 12 petite.  i felt out of place walking around the "skinny" section for clothes, for years i have avoided going near them. lol.  

 WELL I GOT PAINFULLY SICK AROUND NOV 4.  I HAD TO GO TO HOSPITAL NOV6 AND THEY KEPT ME TIL NOV 17.  I HAVE AN ULCER, ABCEST AND A LEAK IN MY NEW STOMACH.  NOW I'M HOME BUT HAVE A DRAIN AND A PIC LINE (IV)  ON TPN AND LOTS OF MEDS!  THE FIRST 5 DAYS I FELT SO BAD ALL I DID WAS SLEEP AND DREAM.  WAKING UP WAS THE NIGHTMARE!  I THOUGHT TO MYSELF HOW STUPID COULD I BE TO DO THIS TO MY BODY!  WHAT DID I DO?  I WISH I DREAMED THIS WHOLE THING AND ANY MOMENT I'LL WAKE UP BACK IN TIME...BEFORE I HAD SURGERY.
I FEEL A LITTLE BETTER NOW STILL UNABLE TO EAT, I CAN'T WAIT TO GET THE DRAIN OUTTA ME AND THE PIC LINE OUT MY ARM.  DR. SAYS IT WILL BE ANOTHER WEEK OR 2.
I DON'T REGRET THE SURGERY AS MUCH ANYMORE I TRY TO REMIND MYSELF WHY I WANTED IT IN THE FIRST PLACE.
GOOD NEWS IS MY DIABETES IS UNDER CONTROL FOR THE FIRST TIME IN 4 YEARS!  I'M STILL ON INSULIN AND HOPE TO CONTINUE WITH LOWER BLOOD SUGAR LEVELS.

 I'm finished with my required appts, as far as I know.  Now I'm waiting for a call from surgeon office setting up my preop!!!  I hope that my ins. approves me and does it quickly!  I have met some real inspirational ppl on here and I am glad to have the support.  Thank you and good luck on your journeys.  Mine will be here soon!!!!!
