Hi ALl, Just wanted to let you know that I am doing well. I have been getting out, walking, doing well. I am so tired of sitting home --- bored. I am calling the Dr today to make sure it's OK to go back to work tomorrow or this week. I am 15 days post op and I've lost 17 lbs. I hope to keep the weight loss up with trying to get all my water in and eating right. BTW, keep Rhonda in your prayers...she is in the hospital right now -- scheduled for 8 am! thanks and see ya

Hi I had my final appointment today with Lesa's surgeon and mine. I asked how she was doing and he said that she is doing wonderful. I guess she will be going home tomorrow. If anyone is thinking about having surgery with Dr. Slotman let me tell you that he is wonderful. I have no fear for my surgery on 8/13/01 with him. I was so glad that Lesa is going great!!! I will keep all updated

I visited with Lesa this morning and then later in the evening. I believe she is doing well and the nurses told her vitals are great and her recovery is going well. We went for a short walk in the evening. Will post again tomorrow.

Lesa, Congratulations on your surgery! I was glad to hear that everything went well. I hope you have a smooth and speedy recovery. It gets a little better every day and you will soon be enjoying your new life! A WLS friend,

7/30/01- I saw Lesa off to surgery this morning. It was 3 hrs, 20 min. She was still in recovery when I left the Hospital at 8:00 pm. Her surgeon told me it went very well. I did see her and she looks wonderful and looks like she is doing well.... will post more tomorrow. ~Sarah
