WELCOME HOME!!! So glad to hear that you are doing good. I only wish I could have had this life saving surgery when I was your age. How lucky you are. I had the open rny on 6-28-01, age 53, and have lost 50 lbs so far and a ton of inches. I wish you all the very best on your journey into a new life.

Melissa, best wishes for your upcoming surgery. I had mine last November from Dr. Schwartz, and I have never had a single regret. One thing that may help to remember is that the nervousness is over with when you wake up in the recovery room to your new life.

Hello--- I wanted to wish you good luck on your upcoming surgery! I will pray for your safty and fast recovery... I had surgery with Dr Schwartz on 7-31-01! He was great, very kind man... Good luck... Kiara ---- -22 lbs 19days post op
