Surpass 2nd pre-pregnancy weight of 245
My name is Alison, and am married with 2 children ages 8.5 & 6. I currently weigh 295 lbs on 5/22/07. My story is much like the rest of you, basically YoYoing up and down for the last 9 years since my pregnancy with my 1st born. My highestsince then is now, @ 295#'s and lowest was 245#'s just last May 2006. THIS IS TIME FOR CHANGE. I NEED A BETTER QUALITY OF LIFE FOR MYSELF AND FAMILY. I've now come to the point where I've had it! I need to get this weight off before I lose my mind. I'm sick of worrying about it, I'm sick of being moody and depressed about it, and I'm sick of hating the way I look and feel. I'm sick of not being able to fit in clothes, sick of suffering in the summer and staying inside so i don't get a heat rash between my legs and under my breasts. I'm sick of disappointing my children because i can't play tag, or baseball or soccer. I'm sick of getting in fights with my husband, because all i do is sit on my behind, and don't help. I'm sick of not being able to go out in public and not being able to run after my little 6 year old tornado. I'm sick of being winded just walking up my apt. steps, or having to always tell my kids and hubby - Wait for me, wherever we go. I'm sick of not being able to fit properly in stadium and theater seating. I'm sick of not being able to tie my shoes normally, shave my legs and wash myself comfortably in the shower. (this list can go On and On FOREVER) I am ashamed and embarrassed that at age 28, i have high BP, high Cholesterol, and use a cane sometimes when there is a lot of walking involved. So, it is for all these reasons and many more that I have decided to DO THIS & TAKE ACTION. I am joining Curves in June, once the kids are settled into camp. I'm very anxious & have never been so ready to be healthy, feel & look great. Wish me luck! Here's to my success!!
