2nd times a charm

11/02/13  It's been a while since I've posted to this site.  This was the very first group I joined back in 2000.  They were and still are they best support and info site around.  

UPDATE:  Still looking to get that revision of my original RNY of 2001.  Life (and insurance) got in the way.  Insurance is still a struggle too.  But I've come to the realization that I MUST have a revision to help me to stay on this earth a little longer.  BMI has gone back up to 46 or so, so it is Critical!  

Spoke with the surgeon nurse and have been scheduled to have an upper GI and detailed blood work.  Then go and see surgeon to see what he says.  The nurse tried to dissuade (sp?) me by saying that most revision Do Not get approved.  Why the he!! not??  Anyway, will be more vigil at updating my progress.  Hope to friend back alot of my buddies (or as they used to be called ((Angels)) and find many more new buddies and anyone who is or has gone through the tribulations of a revision.  Best wishes to all, Anita (LuvBirdies)
