June 23 - Day after pre-op Hospital Visit

Well the pre-op visit went well. The nurse took me through everything that they are going to do on the 29th. I felt relief and asked questions upon questions and she kept asking if there was anything else....Her name is Dawn and she ia a very personable individual. And she told me that if I forgot anything that I wanted to ask, to write it down and on day of surgery, I will meet with Dr Andrews and he will answer anything else.Then I met with the Anesthesia Nurse Clinician Lorena and she too was also awesome.
Went through all my medical history and the meds and she told me what will happen as well. I feel bettter about the whole surgery now and am now just very excited and anxious.
Got my labs done and an EKG and it's set.
I am down 18 lbs as of yesterday from the liquid diet, and that is also a good feeling. I tried on and wore pants that I haven't been able to fit for a couple of years........6 more days, look out world, here I come!!!
