I just got gastric bypass RnY on February, 2009. I started this journey in September of last year. My initial weight was 365 lbs my BMI was 60. Which I'm not ashamed of telling when they ask because is in the past and I will never be that weight again. The day after my surgery I was 317 lbs. I was a size 26/28 in jeans and 3x to 4x in shirts. At this moment I wear size 12-14 in jeans and m-l in shirts. I've lost a total of 120 lbs since surgery in only 7 months. I'm looking forward to reaching my ideal weight of 150 before my one year mark. Excited with all the changes in my life and this great new journey and a brand new life.
