Wed, 23 July 2003 Hello everyone! Thank you so much for your encouragement! Some of you said you'll be getting operated today (July 23rd). The best of luck!!! I can't believe how quickly everyone responded to all the information I posted only yesterday! I met with the New Life Health and Fitness dietician yesterday who went over everything that I'll be eating (well, drinking, more like :) right after discharge from the hospital. The clear liquids phase. When she took another look at my surgery date, she commented on how soon I'm going to be going into surgery--only in a week! There was another pre-op, his name is Christian, who was in the dietician's consultation with me, who will be operated on August 6th, so the best of luck to him. We were very encouraging to each other. It's so great to talk to people who understand exactly what steps I will be taking now. I paid for my New Life Health and Fitness membership as well. The surgeon requires his patients to use his health facility--$3,500. Paid yesterday when I met with the dietician. I will probably head to the hospital today to pay the hospital fees. AAGH! Each thing I do brings me closer...my parents and I are getting very excited. Will post again soon hopefully! Much love, respect, and prayers, Marilise :O)
