Sinai Hospital Baltimore

"Wonderful hospital, with caring compassionate staff."

Christina Li

"Dr. Li was wonderful. She made you feel right at home from the first visit. She even welcomed you with a big hug. Impressive. My impression has not changed, she continues to be warm and caring. The office staff left a little to be desired, except for her office manager, who diligently took care of the authorizations. Dr. Li emphasizes strictly following the aftercare guidelines for optimal results and provides an on-site nutritionist that works with each patient individually as well as in a group setting. Good golly, risks were emphasized an put in writing (which amounted to 20+ pages). She was excellent and I highly recommend her. In my opinion, surgical competence, naturally is important for the overall health or the patient, but if there is no bedside manner you will not feel confident with that surgeons abilities. At one point in time, back in 2004, I had seen another highly recommended and qualified surgeon, but because of his bedside manner, I chose not to use him as my surgeon. rnrnIn addition, the hospital used (Sinai) was wonderful. I had a private room, and very attentive staff. In fact, it must have been my lucky day, but I actually had a \"suite\". A whole separate room with a couch, recliner, table and chairs, tv, vcr, dvd, sink, refrigerator and microwave. My family was impressed. I can honestly say, I had no negative experiences."

"Pam goes above and beyond for her patients. She is a kind, concerned Christian, whose light shines. She is also a previous bariatric patient whose input is invaluable."
