Well today is the 4th of July, Indepence day for all Americans!

My Independence day started 5/21/08, unfortunately I am just feeling up to par.  Please people don't get discoraged.  I had problems but I have made it through.

I am now 20lbs lighter, a size smaller, and finally feeling better.  I still have some trouble with food.  My body seems to like the thick liquids not reg food yet.  Oh well, I will get there.

To all of you out there with this surgery or those waiting for it.  It is a good tool to help you with weight loss.  Don't forget to go to the nutritionalist though they are here to help us on the long road.

Well Tomorrow is the day, I say have a good day to my children and send them to school. My husband drives me to the hospital in my fat clothes and drops me at the door. I always make him do that, this way he can park on the street,Hah hah!  Not sure where adm is sure I will find it, and the asleep I will go. Reading other's stories on this site, gathering up info, buying gas-x and being ready has been great.  The chat room is fun and very informative so I truly feel good about going. No not afraid, told the hubby to leave and go home, take care of the children and come back later at visiting hours, he says no.

Think they can sneak my pomeranian in? She is only 5lbs, my daughter can put her in her dance bag. LOL

If not for you, I think I would be a nervous wreak and be vomitting right now.

Hello everyone, 

My surgery has been approved, everything has gone swiftly.  I really could use the help of people who have had this done.  I for some reason am so excited to have this done. From the time of the original appt. to the date of surgery was 2 weeks, so I really don't have time to get nervous, I don't think. Everything that I had to do was done and cleared.

I have read about people losing hair, dumping, and GAS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Those things were all gone over with me, but who thinks that will happen to you, lol.  Please give feed back to the best vitamins, and any other supplement that I can obtain prior to the surgery.

Also, I have a hard time navigating this site.  Help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
