I have always been on the thicker side, I was about 160#'s my senior year of high school. I had my son at the age of 18, and it just went down hill from there as far as my weight. At my heaviest I weight 315, and in 2005 I lost  about 40 ibs. But quickly gained it back after I had my daughter in 2009. I only gained 25#'s during the pregnancy. But after I had her my weight blossom back up to over 300#'s. Then last year I loss about 15#'s, just to gain that back. I just had come to the conclusion that I will always just be the "FAT PRETTY GURL." Til I was on the Internet and came across a weight loss seminar, that was the end of 2011. I attended the seminar and thought boy I would really like to have that done, so I made an apt to see the doctor the next month. I weighed in at 305 and was told I had to do a 3 month supervised medical weight loss. And I was told I needed to lose 30#'s, I didn't understand why because I had just previously watched a TV program called my 600# life. I thought wow these people are way bigger that me, so why do I need to lose weight. But after it was explained to me I understood why. I completed the 3 months and took my pre-op testing only to find out a week later that I would be losing my health insurance at the end of April, I got very depressed and gained 2#'s. I had just decided that I wouldn't have the surgery and would be fat for the rest of my life. I then picked myself up and said you loss 15#'s by yourself and you can continue to push on. But thought in the back of my head you'll gain it back. So I kept working out with very slow progress, and on April 23, 2012 I got the call that I was approved and my surgery would be on April 26, 2012.
