This has truelly been a journey. I just completed my second round of plastics with my amazing surgeon Jamal Bullocks.  I cna not explain how I felt when i was at my checkup and they brought me my Before and after pictures side by side. It brought Tears to my eyes. I knew the body but I just hadn't seen it in over 25 years. My Husband was truelly amazed. He met me at 328lbs and loved me at that size, I just didn't love myself. Now I feel like a Butterfly who is truelly able to spread her wings!! Thank you Mr. Segura for all ur support. I love u for loving me. A special thanks to my baby girl Jodekay who always told me that I was beautiful no matter what size I was and that I was perfect to her. To those of you who are starting your journey never give up.

I Started my Journey actually 2 years prior to my surgery date. I was denied 7 times before I went to NeWeigh and ended up in a 3rd Level appeal process. Well needless to say it was approved. My heighest weight was 318lbs. My doctor asked that I try and loose weight prior to surgery. My weight on the morning of surgery was 308. Over the Years I have been able to maintain my weight with the lowest weight after the birth of my son in 2007, 177. I a noticed in January that my weight had creeped back up to 192. So Last month I went on a mission to loose more weight before Plastic surgery. I had a few consults and it seems really hard to get it approved through insurance but I haven't given up hope. In August we started the biggest looser competion at work and as of  today I have lost 14lbs by cutting down to a 1200 calorie a day diet and adding exercise into my daily routine.
