I am stuck at 200.4 lbs and it has been  a couple of days,  so  hopefully will be under 200 any day.  The scale seems to move and then stop for a good week & then I drop 2-3 lbs.  It may be due to my cycle but before surgery I used to gain 5 lbs each month during my period. so I guess staying the same is ok...
I  am  3 1/2 months post op and 72 lbs done &  I feel pretty good.   I have been really careful with my foods and protein, so
I can honestly say things are going very good.   I am getting ready to join the gym and need to start tighting up and
try to get myself toned.   I am so excited today was  a beautiful day & I wore a tank top & shorts for the 1st time in 4  years.
My arms & legs were showing skin and it felt good. Hope everyone is going good and to always remember how lucky we are to have a 2ND chance at  living a healthy, active, happy life.  It has been one of the best things I have ever done for myself. I love my RYN pouch. 

At  almost 2 months  post-op  weight is 219 lbs ,that ***53 lbs***gone forever (I forgot to post this !)


At 2 1/2 months today 4/4/10 weigh 209 lbs thats *********63 lbs **********gone forever, And everything is going really well!
I am eating alot of my homemade soup,  egg quiches, watermelon,  wheat saltine crackers, tune & chicken salad made with low fat mayo, tortilla's with spinach, mushrooms & chicken with fat free sour cream or greek yogurt on top.  I eat small 1/2  cup portions and I have not gotten sick .. I feel so happy & fortunate that I was able to have this surgery.  It is not easy everyday but  each weeks it is getting easier & easier and I feel soo much better with 63 lbs gone!!!!!

I had my RNY surgery 7:30 AM  Monday January 18th,,   I will be very honest in saying the first 2 days after the surgery where very bad for me.  I had a dizzy.nausea side effect from the surgery.  Everyone is different but I am 4 days post op and still having dizziness.  I am on Zofran which seems to helping but I will be soooo much better once this passes.   My pain since yesterday has been well controlled.  My first hot shower was like heaven.. I call it water therapy.  So all things considered I am doing OK.  Working on getting in all my water and proteins.  I am not hungry at all & that is so strange!!   I  have   lost a total of 17.2 lbs since my pre-op liquid  diet started.  My post op journey has begun.  I hope we can all help each other threw this !!!! Well I am on my pre-op liquid diet...I started Monday 1/11/10 and as of today I am 4 days completed and as of this afternoon as Dr's office i weighed in at 262,5 lbs.   So I am down 8 1/2 lbs and I still have Fri, Sat, Sun to get threw. I am so ready for surgery.  I keep looking at all of OH friends posts & pics to give me the motivation to get threw my next 3 days.
i will be in the hospital for 2 nights Monday 18th & Tuesday 19th  & should be home sometime Weds 20th...
I have happy thoughts and hunger pains so hopefully I sail threw ........good luck to all of you and remember
we will are all skinny on the inside & we just have to brake out of our shells !

I got my call from my Dr's office & my surgery is approved ...    YESSSS!!!!!!!!!!!
I am SOOOOOOOOOOO HAPPY !!!   I start my liquid diet on Monday Jan 11th & my 
 Pre-op testing is Jan 14th,  and the surgery is Monday Jan 18th..  I have to get all of 
my goodies  (isopure, vitamins front button pj's, jello) .    I am sooooo excited

Today was my last Dr visit and they are submitting to my Horizon BC BS.  The nurse told me she will hopefully get a reply by Monday..(today is Tuesday)  so  I am crossing my fingers & toes.   They told me how they submitted another Pt's approval at  9 am and she had an approval by 12 noon.  That would  be awesome but I can't stress out about this as my husband always reminds me that won't make it happen any faster.. OK I'll stop and will keep u updated.

This is the beginning of my weight loss journey,  I am awaiting my final doctor's visit.  I have been following the 6-7 month Horizon BC Health insurance company monitored weight loss period. I will be submitted for approval this Tuesday the 5th and if approved my tentative RNY surgery date will be Jan 18th... I am so nervous the insurance company will find some reason to deny me!!   Well I am thinking of all of you as I have been using you all as my inspiration.  I will keep you posted. thank you to my new friends on OH !!!!     I can only  think postive & pray for an approval!!!
