Where are the Support Groups needed?

Have anyone ever committed to go someplace and get there and absolutely No-Ones there?  Well that's what happened to me, today.  I'm 2 months out and I really wanted to go to the support group meeting.  I was very anxious about going and really wanted to hear what everyone else had to say, and guess what?  NO ONE was there, not even the coordinator.

To tell you the truth, I'm really discourage about that, and I feel like I'm left out.  The first time I attended, I was the only one there, and now for the second time, nothing.  What can I do? I really wanted to attend where my physician is. I need some suggestions, advice, or just plain encouragement.  HELP
