I GOT A DATE !!!!!!!!

oh family  I can hardly contain myself  ... I got a phone call today from the coordinator Michelle in Dr. Fernandez office. I told her that I had been waiting on her to call me . She said so when would you like your surgery?  I asked her when is her first available date for him?  She said how about  May 3? I said that's great . She said before she could submit my file to insurance that she needed a five year pcp history. She gave me the fax number  I told her the I will go today and get that info to her. I went to my dooctor office and requsted to see someone in the medical records department and I told them what I needed. I was prepared for them to tell me that it would be maybe three to four days for them to fax the records. How about they went in the computer and printed offf the info and faxed it to the surgeons office while I stood there. I  took 10 minutes tops. WONDERFUL SERVICE !!!!! I called Michelle 30 minutes later and she had received them  and that she woud be submitting my folder to my insurance company for approval and I should know something within 1-2 weeks.  She told me that I will need to start my 3 wk pre-op diet  April 13. She connected me to Amber to schedule a class to go over the preop and post op diet.  She was not in the office today  so I left a message.  Sooo many things to do  so little time.
