Went to the Diabetes physician at HUP, all is good, they don't want to start me on any diabetes medicine, but will keep me on insulin coverage for any BGMs > 150. So far since surgery that has only been 3 times. Follow up in 4 months.

I'm ready for this.  All prepared mentally.  I did the bowel prep on Sat 4/17/09, I'm on clear liquids.  Monday I get an IVC filter placed and surgery on Tuesday at Hospital of University of Pennsylvania.  I'm ready for a new life, a new and healthier me.
