I am researching and looking into weight loss surgery

I am in the research phase of the weight loss surgery.  I have tried many many times to lose the weight and yes it comes off but then it seems to creep right back on.  I am done with the dieting rollercoaster and want to look into having gastric bypass surgery.  

I have asked a lot of my friends to share stories if they have had it done or know someone that has had it done.  I am getting a lot of great feedback.  I just am afraid that with all this research I am not going to be able to have the surgery done.

I am uninsured right now and I am not in a position where I could afford self pay.  I am trying to put some money away here and there but it doesn't seem like it is adding up very fast.  

I was hoping to have surgery scheduled by next summer when my mom was out of school and could help me out post op but now that is seeming more and more like a dream.

If anyone has any good suggestions on more research that I can be doing please let me know.
