My story is probably just like yours. I'm a Christian 1st. I believe the God sent his son Jesus to live and die for us so that we can spend eternity with him in heaven and live everyday spreading that message to all who will hear. I'm married to an amzing man who supports me in all i do and loves me for who I am not what size I am. We were just blessed with a beautiful daughter who is the best thing that with the help of God I have ever done. I am here because I like to eat. I eat when I'm bored, happy, sad, loney. Eating is awesome! But like many of you I have abused food and used it as therapy. It is time for me to step us and do somthing permanant to correct this error. I want to have more children and then see them grow up and have children of thier own. I don't have any illness from my weight but my quality of life is compromised due to my size as like any overweight person. I began researching weight loss surgery many years ago because even as young as I am I can remember always being overweight. I work at a medical school but not until last year did our insurance cover any sort of bariatric surgery. Once we got the benefit I made up my mind and here I am. I'm intrested in hearing other peoples stories and I look forward to having you guys as companions along this weight loss journey.
