"Dr. Smith has a good reputation, which is why I went to him in the first place. He knows what he is doing and appeared to have done a thorough job of reading my chart. He does stress non-smoking and makes it a deal breaker. He came by to visit me at least once a day while in the hospital was was in touch with my condition. He was actually pretty cool, in a non-plussed kind of way. He emphasizes followup care. He discussed everything in advance, though I had already done thorough research, and gave me the opportunity to ask questions. The risks were disclosed."
