i have had horrible gas or heartburn pain but just went to bathroom and I had quite abit of blood when I wiped is this normal

I had sleeve surgery 3-23-15 and I have gas so bad I cant hardly stand it. Does anyone have any ideas on this. Im probably the only person you know that cant make themselves burp but I cant.
