Hi All.  its been a while since i have been on.  Due to things going on in the family and my surgery March 15th 2011.

I have been doing great,  I feel great,  off of all my diabetes medicine since i came home from the hospital.  I am also down 70lbs since my RHY.  and met my first goal of being where i was when hubby and i got together and after having my daughter 24 years ago. 

My next goal is to be 199.  There is no rush on it i want to do it as my body alows me too.  I am still struggling on eating meats because of the babies and stress at dinner time and through out the day i miss count my chews and sometimes i throw up but there is other times that everything stays down. 

I see Dr. Wasser next week and i am going to chat with him about where i am and where i should be and what my ending goal should be. 

I am happy that I am doing great and feel great and i am still alive.  Without this surgery i could have been gone in a few years.  because with being on insulin so long i couldnt loose the weight.

I start my shakes tomorrow morning for the next two weeks.  Please pray that i can do this.  between getting the house clean and everything organzied before i go into the hospital.  My sister is in the hospital now with a infection hoping it will be cleared up so that she can be here while I am in the hospital and some time when i am home.  So my daughter Emma gets some help.  Especially when her dad works long hours.

My older children understand what is going on.  My 24 year old is going to be taking care of my son who is 18 and has a brain tumor.  my 17 year old can take care of herself but i would like her to help out.  then I have a 4 year old son and a 2year old daughter.

If anybody wants to be my angel for me please let me know

I went shopping for vitiamns today.  I did find them all but the cal crystals so i will have to order them on line.  I also went shopping to start stocking up on the broth, jello, and ice pops or when i start  liquids on the 28th of  Feb.

I just got back from the surgeron's office.  My surgery is schedule for March 15, 2011.  I have to have a upper GI which is schedule for Feb. 22,2011 then my pre admission testing is March 7th, 2011 and I start my shakes on Feb.28, 2011

I am starting the process of weight lost surgery with Dr. Samuel Wasser.  I am doing the regular bypass due to my diabetes.  Was wondering if there are anyone else out there that is going through the process.  I have a few more doctors to see.  But should be ready for it to go to the inusrance co.  I have thought about the surgery for years and i have tried every diet out there.  And with my dietian but havent lost any weight.  They say it is the insulin that is causing me  not to loose the wieght.  My only solution is the WLS.
