Onderland!

199.4!  Not sure why that one drinking pound is so dang hard (almost a week), but it feels great! Surgery was 2/3,  213, was 227 2 weeks earlier, total 28 lbs 5 weeks!  I feel hope again, knees don't hurt anymore!

Dat 2 post op

Able to slowly swallow sufficient water, take protonic and a pain pill.  Pain isn't bad but I want to take a walk and be comfortable. I'm looking at my lovenox,I give these sq injections to other people all the time...The thought of doing this to myself is freaky!

patch md

Love the idea, do I need the bypass patch or can I use the multivitamin patch with the sleeve?  A lot less expensive.

Recycled

Jan 15, 2017

I'm not new here, I guess I'm a recycle.  11 years ago, had a lap band, for 11 weeks , had my first fill, it closed my esophagus, after a week in the hospital, it was removed. Lost 11 lbs in 11 weeks, not huge, but for first time in my life, I felt full.  Fast forward 11 years and add an extra 16 lbs to my 211 lbs,  and I'm going for the sleeve.  Private pay, surgery on 2/3/17, and I am more than a bit nervous.

I am on a " clean" diet, low carb, no soda, I am a nurse, and do have a busy life, raising my 11 yo grandson, work, family, and due to this extra fat, I have withdrawn from my friends, not feeling good about myself at this weight.   No health issues, but cranky knees, and no "zest" when I look at the future.  It is time.

I plan to continue lurking, so much helpful information here.      Marian
