"The nurses at the hospital were not compassionate and didn't have an understanding of what obese people go through. After leaving the recovery room I was sent back to the room I started from. I asked to use the bathroom and nobody helped me get there.
The nurse went to get my famiy so they could come back. My family heard me in the bathroom getting sick. My mom asked on of the nurses if I was ok and she said Oh ya she's fine she has a nurse in there with her. After about 10 minutes of my family listening to my get sick my mom walked into the bathroom to find me in there by myelf getting sick all over the floor. There was even nurses talking outside of the bathroom saying "Boy I wish she would hurry up!"
I did had one set of nurses (at night) who were wonderful. They helped me undo my leg compression cufs to use the restroom and you could tell that they cared.
The other nurses that I had, not one of them smiled at me and I felt that I was a burden to them. I felt that everytime I had to press the button to call one of them I was bothering them. It was awful! One of the nurses kept hurting me and I told her that she was hurting me so then she said well here you do it then. I would not recommend this hospital to anyone."
