"Dr. Monk was very informative. He spent time to give me a physical, and explain the surgery. He also answered some questions. He was busy, but spent as much time as he could on the 1st visit. The second visit was more questions and answers. Dr. Monk also has a support group meeting going on at Apple Hill Medical Center in York, PA, the 1st Tuesday of each month with a great group of people. He explained all the risks, and admitted to losing two patients in his early attemps at this procedure. He is always improving his procedure to protect the patient, and has done over 100 gastric bypass operations with success."
