"Dr. Mardsden was wonderful. During the surgery, a great deal of scar tissue was discovered. He removed it so my band would properly fit. Normally the surgery is 30 minutes, mine took 2 hours.rnrnMy first impression of him was one of honesty and trust. My impression over time has not changed. His office staff is competent and very nice. The least thing I like about him is I haven't really had much time with him. He highly emphasizes after care. He addressed the risks of surgery a great deal. It almost seemed like he was trying to dissuade me. He wasn't ... but he wanted to make sure I know the journey I was about to embark. Both surigical competence and bedside manner are great. One without the other is pointless and Dr. Mardsden has both.rnrnOver all, I'd rate him a fabulously wonderful doc!"
"There was no privacy. I am large busted and had to walk around with strange men gawking at me. The post nurses were horrible. When one was pushing me, she said, "You're so heavy." and 'You're so slow. I"ll never get anyting done if you do not wake up." "God, she's taking forever to wake up." On and on it went. This was the worse experience of my life. NEVER GO HERE FOR WEIGHT LOSS SURGERY!!"
