Wow, It's been quite some time since I have been on the board.  I have experience some tragic life experience.  My husband past in 2008.  My son past in 2014.

Over the course of grieving, I gained 30 pounds.  When I decided it was time to get back on track, it was discovered that my port had flip May 2014.  Have surgery to fix the flipped port and almost a year later no weight loss.  Went in for third fill and discovered once again port has tilted once again.  Surgery again to fix port June 2015.  Two months later again port has tilted. I refuse to go thru surgery again.  So the bad news is, the only way for me to get a fill is the doctor does it at the hospital under fluro.    I will continue to do what I can on my own.  Feeling really discourage. Not sure where to go from here. I have manage to lose 11 pounds from hard work and discipline, no thanks to the bands help.

I have been having sharp pain in my upper stomach area.  Dr. Mejias order a CT  scan of my abdom.  but everything came back negative.  I then had an ultra sound for gallbladder and it come back negative.  Can't figure it out . Hopefully one more test and we will know something.
In the mean time.   I have lost 3 more pounds since my last visit.

I have my 5th fill yesterday.  I now have 2.5 cc in my 4 cc band. 
Since my six week visit, I have lost 6 pounds so that is like a pound a week.
Next two days will be a liquid diet, let's see how things go.

I received my fourth fill today.  I now have 2 cc in my 4 cc band.  Let's see how this goes.
I had lost 4 lbs since seeing my doctor.  Yeah me...

It's a new year and a new me.  Nothing much has change maintaining my weight but would like to drop another
25 pounds before my 2 year bandiversary.  I will receive my 4th fill on February 5th and see if I can kick start my weight loss again.  I continue to stay strong. 

I just celebrated my 38th birthday on the sixth of October.  It was nice but not like the times my significant other and I had in the past. (He passed away March of this year)  But I stay strong and I am still standing.  I have to my 3 years old daughter needs me.
I did have a wow moment this pass weekend I am now in a size 14 clothes from Lane Bryant started out a size 22/24.

I have lost a total of 74 lbs - 35 more to go before I reach my goal.  My one year anniversary will be on July 31.   I am proud of all that I have accomplished and hope to continue this journey with such great progress despite all that I have been through.  Hopefully by December, I will have reach my ultimate goal 160 lbs and a size 11/12.

Just a quick update.  I have lost a total of 68 lbs to date.  Taking one day at a time but still loving my band.  Just started my exercise routine back.  And I am feeling better already.

I have not been on the board for a while but I am making progress in terms of weight loss.  I am now in a size 16 clothing down from size 22/24.  And have lost 59 lbs.  
On the down side, I lost my spouse of 18 years to a heart attack on March 14th.  RIP-Garner.  I will continue my journey as he would want me too - hold my head up and shoot for the stars*****.

Today I went in to get some of my saline remove after being miserable for the last 3 weeks and was not able to eat anything and when I say nothing I do mean nothing,  I have basically been on a liquid diet for the last 3 weeks.  I asked Dr. Mejias for a slight unfill.  He removed .5 ccs so now I have 1.5 ccs in my 4 ccs band.
The good part is that  I have lost 9 lbs since my visit 3 weeks ago.  I felt instant relief.
