Hi guys! Been a while! I'm still holding at 148 lbs., and doing fine so far with my infection.Michael had cataract surgey this Weds., and didn't do well. He had so much anxiety, the anesthetic didn't work, and they gave him 4 times what they normally do. Needless to say, he was really out of it after, so they kept him over night! We brought him home yeaterday, during the weirdest storm I've ever seen. We had rain, snow, hail, lightening, thunder, and wind all at the same time! Now there is a 3 in layer of ice on everything! Terrible! Anyway, he still isn't right, with the dementia, it doesn't help! So....things are a little tense right now. I'm sure it will get better! So, my friends, thanks for all your support for my 2 year Bandiversary! You're ALL so special to me!!!

Hi guys! well, I went for my pre-ops, today, for my hip replacement, this coming Tuesday! It all went very well, and I sure hope I pass! I can't wait for it to beover, now! I'm getting a new picture, and when you see the whole thing here, you'll notice my clothes, are just humungous on me! lol I haven't bought any new regular clothes, other than stuff for the hospital, and some swets! They make me look a LOT bigger than I am, so I just wanted to tell you why! So, hope you all have a great week-end, and give your loved ones a big hug, and kiss today if you can!

Well, I told you, I would update! Michael, and I went at 9, and got home at 4:30! What a day! They decided, we should see my PCP while we were ther, so I can hardly move! We got a date, though! 2-8! 8:30am. So, it will not be easy! Will take a long time to heal,but will SO be worth it! I'm getting a fill on the 4th, and then pre-ops, and surgery! Pray for me please, and it will be a long haul! He will do the right , first! Thank you for your concern!

Hi all! well, just thought I'd let you know I FINALLY go to my surgeons, tomorrow, and hopefully will come home with a surgery date! I'm on morphine, AND Oxycondone, AND a sleeping pill, and STILL can't sleep! I'm awake 3/4's of the night, and usually get up at 5:00am. So, anyway, we'll see what happens. Will update tomorrow night! Let's see, My Angel Laryssa, had her surgery, and she is doing fine, now! She had me worried for a couple of days, there, but she's fine, thank God! Now we have to find out about Jamie! Please say a prayer for the little guy, and the peace of mind of his parents! So....my Joey, is about 14lbs., now, and just as cute as a button! He's really developing quite a little personality! ha I guess that's about it, I will report in tomorrow, hope all is going fine for all of you!

Hi! I just wanted to say we had a wonderful holiday, very quiet, and enjoyed it with Joey! Hope you all had a great one, too! Isn't my profile beautiful! Heidi, did a great job! Very, pretty, and simple. So, I have 8 lbs. to go. I had called my doctor this last Monday, but he was out until the 10th. So, will call again next Monday, and lay it on the line. I can't take the pain anymore! We'll see. I had a scare, the other day, I believe I had food poisoning, but the doctors aren't sure what it was. However, I'm feeling a little better now. I just couldn't believe, my Angel, Laryssa, put it on the board, and the outpouring of love was just unbelievable! What fantastic people! SO many friends. Angel, has been going through SO many heartwrenching problems, and she also has seen the love from all out there. She is my main concern, and her baby Jamie! They're like my own, and I'm just worried sick, but have faith, and am praying for the relief of the whole little family! They need some GOOD news. Her surgery is this coming Wednesday, and I'm sure she'll be just fine. She'll be a great little Bandster. Another friend of ours, is going to be with her, and is treating her to a spa treatment, before the surgery, and I'm sure she will feel more relaxed after that. I'm glad Dana can be with her, where I can't. so....boys and girls, that's about it! Again, thanks to Heidi, for the beautiful profile, and to all the people that expressed so much love to Laryssa, and myself!

Well, I knew this last 10 pounds would be a bear, and it is! I've lost 1 pound! My mindset must be all screwed up! I want the hip replacemant SO much, but at the same time, it will be my 9th surgery in 5 yrs. I don't know if I can do 2 more! This is really strange. I'll lose it, but I can see it will be a while! The surgeon won't budge, either! OT, Joey is wonderful! He is of course the most precious little man! We're looking SO forward to the holidays with him! A true gift from God! So....will keep you posted, and here's hoping you ALL have a Wonderful Holiday!

Hooray! My only grandson "Joey", was actually born on the date of my last entry! 11-11-04! That was his due date! He is SO precious! Looks just like his daddy, my son! Otherwise, all is well, I'm on oxycondone, and Morphine, now for my pain, the morphine doesn't help as much as the patches I wee using, but we couldn't continue paying $250 a month for the patches! So, after the holidays, will come my first hip surgery! I'm just praying they don't find more cancer anywhere, in my pre-op tests! It's been 5 yrs., now, everyone knock on wood for me! lol Will talk later, have a blessed Holiday! My Angel (laryssa)is calling me back, and I want to finish this, so she doesn't kick me off! ha Bye!

Hello! Just thought I'd update real quick. I am now about 9 months out, and have lost 73lbs. and 76 inches! I have gone from a size 3-4x, to a regular large! I went from 290lbs., to 217. I have 7 lbs. to go, and I'll call my surgeon to start on geting my hips replaced! WHOOPEE! So, I want to lose about 67 more lbs. as 150 is my goal! I've had 3 fills, and I'm at 2.75cc's. Will post more later!

Hi, just thought I'd update a little.I have lost 60lbs.! I LOVE MY Band! Couldn't have done it without all of my friends on the board! You guys ROCK!!!! So, in 6 mo., -60lbs. Not bad for an old lady!!lol See ya later!!!
