My name is Shelli! I am 36 years old, married for 15 years and I have a 12 year old son. I have struggled with my weight my whole life. I have been considering WLS for about 10 years now but I was always hesitant because I didn't like what I heard. Until one day my angel came into my life. "Sherry" Sherry and I work together at a local hospital and she had a DS (duodenal switch) procedure performed in April, 2007. I watched her amazing transformation and asked if she would sit down and explain it to me. Well I guess as they say the rest is history. Once hearing all about the procedure and doing extensive research myself I have decided that this is what I want to do!
