Can't beleive i am down to just 10 pounds to go. I think I'll be able to reach it by my one year surgianniversary! hopefully i can loose a bit more than 10.  120 would be my ideal personal goal giving me some room :)

I'm 16 weeks post op and down 52 lbs as of today.  I feel great.  I have about 35-40 pounds more I would like to loose. It's coming off slow but it's coming off.  As long as it doesn't stop I'm good with that.  My restriction is amazing.  Sometimes I wish I could eat a bit more but then again not really.  I know they say that with time I'll be able to eat more but I  would be happy staying with my 2 oz capacity just like I am now.  Getting the VSG is the best decision ever.  So happy :)

It's been almost 11 weeks (this Tuesday) since my surgery.  I am down 40.8 lbs.  I have never been able to lose this much weight on my own before.  I feel great!  No more feet swelling and I have more energy.  I can no longer wear my pre-surgery clothes at all and most of the clothes I've bought for after surgery are getting way too big:) Someone needs to do more shopping soon :) My next mini goal is to get to 169 which is the weight I was after I had my second child.  I've lost 2 baby weights so far.  My BMI was a 40 and now it's a 31.  That's pretty amazing :)

The only thing about it so far that has been a negative is the loose skin :(  I know it will tighten some but it's there.  I'm just hoping that once I lose this weight that I'll qualify for skin removal surgery.

Got the call from my doctor's office today. It only took my insurance 3 days to approve the surgery. So excited!!!  April first is the date!
