I'm frustrated.. I have to wait 7 weeks for my first fill instead of 6 weeks.... Apparently my Dr. is out of the office the 6th week and there is no one else to do it. I find that hard to believe. So, here I am, waiting for the 7th week hoping to get at least a little bit of restriction.Other than that, things are going well.. I'm back at work and actually walking 2 miles a day which is no small feat for me! I'm proud of the walking that I'm getting in.. The next step is the gym.
Oh, and my incisions have finally healed (after opening up after my staples were removed). The VNA no longer needs to come to my house to check on them.. They are fine. It's to bad that my stomach looks like the Bride of Frankenstein. Minor issue I guess. It's not important.
So, that's all for now. So glad I'm not where I was a month ago. 7 days in the hospital was a long time and the three weeks that followed while recovering where pretty intense as well. I wouldn't change it for anything, however I'm glad it's over with!
